Rose Parade Rally December 28, 2008 - January 2, 2009 The 120th Tournament of Roses - Rose Parade themed Hats Off To Entertainment, will take place on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. This is the annual event motorhome rally sponsored and run by SOI. This will be our 28th Rose Parade rally. This fantastic tradition is a favorite rally for many participants and a great place to re-connect with friends and make new ones too. Welcome Dinner at SOI tent with DJ music 12/29/08 - Work on City of Sierra Madre Rose Parade float (2008 float picturedabove), followed by lunch, Huntington Library, dinner & and bus trip to Crystal Cathedral "Glory of Christmas" performance 12/30/08 - Breakfast at SOI Tent, view floats, lunch and then Band Fest.Catered dinner at SOI Tent with DJ music 12/31/08 - Breakfast at SOI Tent, a "Day at the Races" at Santa Anita RaceTrack, return for dinner & a New Year’s Eve party with Crown City Dixieland Band at SOI Tent 1/1/09 - Bus transportation to Rose Parade (“Hats Off to Entertainment”theme), best seats in the parade near the beginning of the parade route with the sun at your back. Return for lunch at SOI Tent and watch the Rose Bowl football game or view the floats up-close at the “Showcase of Floats”. Also, enjoy an ice cream social! 1/2/09 - Departure Day - See you next year!!
Rally Fee is $2195 per coach (2 people). Deposit of $500
(due now) to hold
your space. Extra people for rally and parade cost $792
each.
Final payment due November 1, 2008
Confirmation notice will be sent with directions to camp, etc. upon
receipt of final payment.

Tournament of Roses --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- California City Rally October 17 - 22 , 2008 Ed & Linda Waldheim will be your hosts at this unique rally in the California desert. We will be staying at the Cal City Airport Campground in California City. Rally fee will include several meals, tour of Borax mine, a visit to the Boron Museum, and a leisurely tour of the Rands Mountains off road area, which can be done in your 2-wheel drive vehicles will enjoy this area. We will have lunch at the historic mining town of Randsburg. Rally fee includes camping, entrance to museum & several meals. Rally Fee is $230, $100 deposit due by 9/1/08.
